The 1’s came away from the weekend disappointed having given away a clean sheet conceding a goal against Old Stationers. They do not have to wait too long to rectify this as they face Old Stationers again in a fortnight, hopefully with a better outcome. Fortunately this result was in the cup so the Goals against tally on the league table has not taken too much of a hit. If we can take some positives from the match, we netted a few ourselves but we move on and will surely bounce back in the league against local rivals, Crouch End Vamps.
Man of the match: Old Stationers Mercy

The 2’s lost. Out the AFA Cup. Next.
Man of the match: Steve Mac
Result: 3-1 loss
The only 3’s only win of the season before Saturday came against top of the league at the time. This weekend they faced top of the league once more, but this time on the back of 4 defeats. The oppositions form quite the contrast, Norsemen had a clean 100% win record. Had is the key word. OG’s love an upset and despite this form, results have shown underlying promise when losing narrowly recently. Despite starting with 10 men due to some expected poor punctuality from the usual suspects, Rob, Del and Dan, the black and gold struck first as Rakim headed low into the corner from a Chris O’Callaghan cross. Del continued his lackadaisical approach to timing throughout the second half missing chances to put the game to bed. Previous late goals have cost us but this time we made sure we had breathing space through Josh making it 2-0. There was a late flurry of action, Norsemen closed the deficit with a long range effort but despite Rob getting sent off we held on to take a second big scalp of the season.
Harvey did not score. Rob was especially late.
